Asymmetric drip tray extends under milk/steam nozzle. It is removable and dishwasher safe. Warming Tray for pre-heating of cups on the top of the machine. High Convenience Filter Holder is specially designed to accept both ground coffee and E.S.E. pods. Eject button allows easy removal of coffee cakes or pods. Auto Cappuccino Nozzle automatically mixes the right amount of steam/water and milk for perfect steamed milk and froth. Removable Water Tank holds 1.2 liters. Aqua-Filter System uses an ion exchange resin system that provides clean, clear and fresh water for perfect tasting espresso by reducing minerals/chemicals and sediment that effect taste. A Great Espresso Machine March 12, 2007

This is a great home espresso machine. I have used it 4-5 times per week, every week for the last 15 months since I received it and I have never had a problem with it. It produces nice, hot, frothed milk with minimum effort. It does require regular cleaning, as any espresso machine does. It is much more user friendly than the two steam espresso machines I previously owned.

I've had this a couple of weeks now and have been impressed since day one. The pressure is very good and consistent, resulting in a good crema in the coffee and lpenty of foam when using the milk frother. Attention to detail in the design features really shows. The push-up button on the coffee holder to dispose of the used grounds is handy. There's a reassuring "click" as you set the size of coffee in the basket and as the basket is inserted into the machine. The best feature to my mind is the detachable milk unit- it can be stored in the fridge and hooked straight up to the machine, and delivers delicious frothy milk to top off a coffee every time with no mess or fuss. The removable water reservoir with a replaceable filter is very useful. Lots of well-thought-out features overall.One small gripe - the instructions did not include how to assemble the milk unit attachment, so it took a couple of tries to get the configuration right. The thicker, straight straw should be inserted in the lid of the milk unit so that the diagonally cut end sits at the bottom of the jug when the lid is on. Then it works like a dream.I highly recommend this machine for espresso, latte, cappuccino ; steamed milk drinks. It looks good, is solidly built, and seems very precisely engineered. Considering what I paid for it, I got a real bargain on a top-notch espresso machine!

The temperature of the steamed milk is not sufficiently warm, nor is the temperature of the coffee,actually quite cold for espresso.Older machines seamed to warm up faster and stay hot during the steaming operation.The key to good espresso is the water temperature and the pressure,(coffee quality of course),missing one or the other makes theespresso weak and bitter.Sorry,I would have returned it if I had purchased it from a store,but going trough shipping and waiting for a response is not the same as clicking on the "buy now" botton.
